Meet Loyola University biologist Tim Hoellein and Shedd manager of conservation partnerships and programs Jaclyn Wegner and learn about their work in an informal setting where you can relax, enjoy a beverage and ask questions. Tim and Jaclyn will talk Great Lakes trash—the plastic kind. Tim’s litter ecology studies use data on microplastics in Lake Michigan tributaries as well as data on litter collected through volunteer beach cleanups, including those hosted by Shedd.
