 less set by acclaimed vocalists Carolyn Lee Jones\, Sandra Kaye\, Heather 
 Paterson\, and Tony Hakim opens this annual tribute to beloved singer Leig
 h Tomlinson. The stellar group is backed by an equally celebrated band: Br
 ad Williams on piano\, George Anderson on bass\, and Andrew Griffith on dr
 ums.\n\nThe all-star tribute continues with a refreshing collaboration fea
 turing innovative vocalists Damon K Clark\, Garry Williams\, Tatiana Mayfi
 eld\, Candace &ldquo\;Mahogany&rdquo\; Miller. Their A-list band includes 
 pianist Shelton Summons\, bassist Jerome Allen\, and drummer Lamont Taylor
 .\n\nSammons Jazz is held at the Sammons Center for the Arts\, 3630 Harry 
 Hines at Oak Lawn. Tickets are $50 per person\; Sammons members receive a 
 $5 per ticket discount. Admission includes beverages\, a light meal\, and 
 valet parking. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.\; the concert begins approximately 
 at 7:30 p.m. There are two performance sets of about 40 minutes each with 
 an intermission between. Dress is casual.\n
