This is your opportunity to get all the details on the event\, how to be a participant and how to get involved as a volunteer. This year is our 15th anniversary\, we will feature current works from over 50 artis ts who primarily live and work in Pilsen. Artists' working spaces\, galler ies\, cafes and cultural centers will open their doors during special hour s for this family-friendly celebration of art\, culture and community. Abo ut POS: Pilsen Open Studios has been a self sustaining annual open studios event\, independently produced by artists &\; community volunteers for 15 years. It was started in 2003 by a group of longtime Pilsen artists\, most but not all of them Latino. The focus of the event is on "studios" as the place of production\, allowing the public a rare glimpse at where (an d how) art in Pilsen is made. All artists involved in the event either wor k or live in the neighborhood\, or have a strong historical connection to Pilsen.
