 rs hosts a &quot\;formal\, Christian ceremony dedicated to creating a wond
 erful graduating experience\, full of memories for both the graduates and 
 their parents\, &nbsp\;with the goal to ultimately glorify God and His pro
 vidence in detail and spirit.&quot\;&nbsp\;\n\n​All surrounding area hom
 eschool families and groups are invited to celebrate the region&#39\;s hom
 eschool graduates! Seating is unlimited\, so each year Monument 2 Mountain
  will be there to congratulate and celebrate local graduates!\n\n​From t
 heir website:\n\nRRHE Graduation is unique in our local area because the g
 raduation will celebrate both the accomplishments of the graduate and the 
 sacrifices of parents in their education journey. &nbsp\;All parents will 
 be an active part of the graduation\, proceeding in prior to the graduates
  to their reserved seating\, meeting their graduate on stage to present a 
 gorgeous diploma (part of the package) and pausing to capture this joyous 
 moment with a photo together before returning to their seats. At the close
  of the graduation\, the parents will join their graduate and walk togethe
 r out of the sanctuary where their unlimited guests&nbsp\;can join you to 
 celebrate the start of a new\, exciting journey of life.&nbsp\;Our graduat
 ion package provides several special mementos of the day&nbsp\;including &
 nbsp\;photos and a DVD of the ceremony.\n\n2018 Commencement Speaker\n\nMe
 et Martin Brown\n\nMartin D. Brown has over 20 years of leadership experie
 nce in human services and government relations\, including serving three V
 irginia Governors. He is currently the new Executive Director of the Glouc
 ester Institute\, a Virginia organization whose mission includes developin
 g leadership skills in outstanding minority youth.\n\nMr. Brown recently s
 erved as Special Advisor to the Governor for Prisoner Reentry and Family R
 eintegration and as Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Social Serv
 ices. During his time as Commissioner\, he oversaw the Virginia Strengthen
 ing Families Initiative and the continuation and expansion of Virginia&rsq
 uo\;s child welfare transformation.\n\nIn school Mr. Brown played football
  and other sports\, and has blessed many church services with his dynamic 
 singing voice. Since graduating from Howard University&rsquo\;s School of 
 Business\, he has brought his passion for both Constitutional and biblical
  principles into his work on behalf of parental rights and prolife causes\
 , and also into his support of homeschooling and other public policy initi
 atives. For example\, he served as Special Advisor to the Governor for Pri
 soner Reentry and Family Reintegration and as Commissioner of the Virginia
  Department of Social Services. During his time as Commissioner\, Mr. Brow
 n oversaw the Virginia Strengthening Families Initiative and the continuat
 ion and expansion of Virginia&rsquo\;s child welfare transformation.\n\nMr
 . Brown and his wife\, Nita\, have two teenaged children\, Kayla and Trevo
 r\, who have been homeschooled since the beginning. The family lives in Ch

 ckett Brown\n\n\n\nCrickett and Michael Brown\n\nRichmond Regional Home Ed
 ucators is delighted to announce that Crickett Brown has been selected to 
 serve the Richmond homeschool community as our 2018 Graduation Coordinator
 .\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCrickett Brown and her husband\, Michael\, have been homes
 chooling since the beginning of their children&rsquo\;s education. They ar
 e blessed with&nbsp\;five&nbsp\;children here on Earth &ndash\; Erin (20)\
 , Holly (14)\, Claire (14)\, Wesley (10) and Lydia (8). Crickett&rsquo\;s&
 nbsp\;style of homeschooling leans toward the&nbsp\;Charlotte Mason&nbsp\;
 approach\, using&nbsp\;an eclectic mix of curricula.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSince&n
 bsp\;moving to Virginia in 2003 the Browns have been&nbsp\;actively involv
 ed in both the local and state homeschool communities. Crickett has served
  with teaching co-ops\, support groups\, a local drama group\, a Keepers a
 t Home group\, and a Contenders for the Faith group. Currently she is inve
 sting&nbsp\;her&nbsp\;administrative talents&nbsp\;as the Field Trip Coord
 inator for HEAV (Home Educators of Virginia)\, plus she serves in a adviso
 ry&nbsp\;capacity with RRHE&rsquo\;s Board\, and as a member of the Board 
 of HEAG (Home Educators at Grove).\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n
