 9\, 4/19\n\nThis class will introduce kids to the world of painting and dr
 awing. It is focused towards helping the beginner become more fluent and c
 omfortable with the different media. Students will be taught to paint on c
 anvas and paper using a step by step instruction. They will explore color\
 , brush types\, composition\, and finishes to create a colorful piece of a
 rt.&nbsp\;\n\nKids will practice their painting skills with an acrylic pai
 nting for half of the class and we will alternate between drawing\, waterc
 olor and other media for the second half between days.&nbsp\;\n\nWe will w
 ork on monthly projects\, so it is recommended that kids take at least one
  class a week on the same day of the week. That way\, they can work on imp
 roving their skills.&nbsp\;\n\nSingle day registration is only encouraged 
 for kids to try the class and see if they like it. (Call the studio to che
 ck availability for single day registration- 847.315.0882). However\, we w
 ill finish a project every 3 to 4 classes on the same day of the week\, so
  single day registrations might not be able to take home a finished produc
 t. Single day registration only by phone or in person.\n\nAll Materials ar
 e included.\n\n*Must choose specific day(s) of the week.\n\n*Class does no
 t meet when school is not in session (DPS109 calendar).\n\n*Students are d
 ivided by age group (5-7\, 8-10\, 11-14)\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe have pick up ser
 vice from all DPS109 schools! For other schools (within 5 miles)\, we can 
 add a route if we have 3 or more kids requesting transport from the same s
